We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) to join our dynamic team in Barcelona. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to contribute to the success of an international firm, managing a diverse portfolio of accounting tasks and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. The successful candidate will be a key player in our finance department, providing essential support for our operations and client services across various industries.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and company policies.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and other statutory filings.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and systems.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Participate in budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.

Habilidades Requeridas

• ACCA or CIMA qualification (fully or partially qualified with significant progress)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero) and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience working within an international professional services firm
• Proficiency in Spanish or Catalan
• Experience with ERP systems implementation or migration
• Knowledge of local tax regulations in Spain
