We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team within our core product development group in Madrid. This role is pivotal in shaping the technical direction, fostering innovation, and driving the successful delivery of critical features and systems. You will be responsible for both technical excellence and people leadership, empowering your team to achieve their full potential while ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background, proven leadership capabilities, and a passion for mentoring and growing engineers.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Define and execute the technical strategy and roadmap for your team's projects, ensuring alignment with product and business objectives.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable and robust software solutions.
• Drive technical excellence, ensuring high standards for code quality, architectural integrity, and operational reliability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, UX designers, and other engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Participate in the hiring process, from interviewing to onboarding, to attract and retain top engineering talent.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide regular feedback, and support the career development of team members.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in an engineering leadership or management role.
• Strong technical background in large-scale distributed systems and software architecture.
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, Go).
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing engineering teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
• Demonstrated ability to drive complex technical projects from inception to launch.
• Experience in agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
