Join our dynamic legal team in Sotogrande as a Paralegal specializing in Expat Law. This role is crucial in supporting our senior lawyers with a wide array of legal tasks related to international clients residing in Spain. You will be instrumental in managing client cases, preparing legal documentation, and conducting research, contributing significantly to our commitment to exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, with a strong understanding of the unique needs of expatriate clients.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Assist lawyers in preparing legal documents, including contracts, wills, powers of attorney, and immigration applications.
• Conduct thorough legal research on Spanish and international law relevant to expatriates.
• Manage and organize client files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
• Liaise effectively with clients, government agencies, notaries, and other third parties.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments, hearings, and meetings for legal professionals.
• Translate legal documents and correspondence accurately between English and Spanish.
• Support general administrative tasks within the legal department to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all legal matters.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant (minimum 2 years in a legal setting).
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken) with professional proficiency.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, processes, and ethical considerations.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Degree or diploma in Paralegal Studies, Law, or a related field.
• Specific experience in immigration law, property law, tax law, or civil law in Spain.
• Knowledge of other European languages (e.g., German, French) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace tools and cloud-based document management systems.
