Are you a proactive and detail-oriented student looking to gain hands-on experience in market research within the dynamic hospitality sector? Meliá Hotels International is offering an exciting Market Research Internship in Adeje, Tenerife. This role provides an unparalleled opportunity to learn foundational market research methodologies, assist in data collection and analysis, and contribute to strategic decision-making in a leading global hotel chain. You will work closely with our marketing and business intelligence teams, gaining insights into consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscapes specific to the tourism industry.
Responsabilidades Clave
- Assist in the design and implementation of market research studies, including surveys, focus groups, and competitor analysis.
- Collect, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from various sources.
- Prepare concise summaries, reports, and presentations detailing research findings and actionable insights.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and economic indicators relevant to the hospitality sector in Tenerife.
- Support the marketing team with ad-hoc research requests and data visualization.
- Learn to use market research tools and databases effectively.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of research processes and methodologies.
Habilidades Requeridas
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of market research principles and methodologies.
