We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Advisor specializing in serving our expat client base in Girona, Catalonia. This role is pivotal in assisting non-resident clients with their property financing needs in Spain, navigating the unique legal and financial landscape. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Spanish mortgage products, international finance, and exceptional client relationship management skills. You will be responsible for providing personalized advice, managing the mortgage application process, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our expat customers.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Provide expert mortgage advice to expat clients, understanding their specific financial situations and legal requirements.
• Guide clients through the entire mortgage application process, from initial inquiry to completion.
• Assess client eligibility and recommend suitable mortgage products from Santander's portfolio.
• Prepare and submit accurate mortgage applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Spanish mortgage regulations, tax implications for non-residents, and market trends.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with expat clients, real estate agents, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Conduct financial reviews and advise clients on re-mortgaging or additional borrowing options.
• Utilize CRM systems to manage client interactions and track progress.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mortgage Advisor or in a similar financial advisory role.
• Proven track record of success in mortgage sales or advisory, preferably with international clients.
• In-depth knowledge of Spanish mortgage products, lending criteria, and legal procedures.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated understanding of expat financial needs and challenges.
