We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Engineer with expertise in Node.js and Python to join our engineering team in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical backend systems, developing scalable and high-performance solutions for our global travel platform. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust APIs and services that power our innovative products. We offer comprehensive relocation support, including assistance with your NIE application, to ensure a smooth transition to life on the vibrant island of Tenerife.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and Python.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing timely resolutions.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and operation.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proficiency in Node.js and Python.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills in English.
