Descripción del Trabajo

CBRE is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Manager with fluent English communication skills to oversee the operational aspects of our client’s properties in Barcelona. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, and comfortable working environment for all occupants. This role involves managing service providers, implementing preventative maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and optimizing facility performance to support business objectives.

Responsabilidades Clave

  • Manage all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, cleaning, security, and utilities.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and programs to ensure optimal building performance.
  • Oversee and manage third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all local health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential issues, risks, or areas for improvement.
  • Manage facility budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Respond promptly to facility-related requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Prepare reports on facility performance, expenditures, and project statuses for senior management.
  • Liaise effectively with building occupants, clients, and internal stakeholders, providing excellent customer service.

Habilidades Requeridas

  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) is essential for this international client-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, preventative maintenance, and facility management best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to facility management.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., FMP, CFM).
  • Proficiency in Spanish or Catalan is a plus.
  • Experience working for an international company or with multinational clients.
  • Knowledge of local Spanish building codes and regulations.
