We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Controller to join our growing team in Girona, Catalonia. This critical role involves managing all financial aspects of our corporate engagements and internal financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial guidance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a meticulous approach to financial management, and excellent English communication abilities to effectively interact with our diverse international client base and internal stakeholders. This is a hybrid position, offering flexibility with a balance of in-office collaboration and remote work.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Oversee and manage all general ledger operations, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, and budgets, providing insightful commentary and recommendations to management.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, Spanish GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cash flow, treasury operations, and financial risk management.
• Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor junior finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Participate in strategic financial planning and special projects as required.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Spanish GAAP.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for business communication.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Solid understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, REA).
• Experience in a multinational corporate environment or professional services firm.
• Knowledge of other European languages.
