We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal Counsel specializing in International Law to join our Legal Department in Puerto del Carmen. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex cross-border legal matters, advising both internal stakeholders and external clients on a broad spectrum of international legal issues. The successful candidate will be instrumental in navigating intricate regulatory landscapes, ensuring compliance with international treaties, and managing legal risks associated with global operations. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of private and public international law, capable of providing strategic legal guidance and drafting precise legal documentation.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Provide expert legal advice on complex international law matters, including treaty interpretation, international contracts, cross-border transactions, and dispute resolution.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of international legal documents, agreements, and policies.
• Conduct thorough legal research on international legal issues, precedents, and regulatory developments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international laws, regulations, and industry standards across all operations.
• Manage and oversee international litigation and arbitration cases, collaborating with external counsel as needed.
• Advise on international investment law, trade law, and human rights aspects relevant to company operations.
• Develop and deliver training sessions on international legal topics to internal teams.
• Liaise with international regulatory bodies and governmental agencies.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
• Admission to the bar in Spain or another relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing international law, preferably within a multinational corporation or an international law firm.
• Demonstrated expertise in public and private international law, including conflict of laws, international agreements, and cross-border commercial law.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse legal team.
• Strong ethical judgment and attention to detail.

• Master's degree (LL.M.) in International Law.
• Experience with international arbitration proceedings.
• Knowledge of specific regional legal frameworks (e.g., EU law, specific Latin American legal systems).
