We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Marina Dockhand to join our team in Gava. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to work outdoors, learn about marina operations, and provide essential support to our boaters. You will be a vital part of our waterside team, ensuring the smooth and safe docking, undocking, and servicing of vessels. Responsabilidades Clave

• Assist boaters with docking and undocking procedures, including line handling and fender placement.
• Monitor marina docks and facilities, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the marina, including docks, walkways, and common areas.
• Operate and maintain marina equipment such as forklifts (after training), carts, and fuel pumps.
• Provide basic customer service, including answering questions and directing boaters to amenities.
• Support fueling operations, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Assist with waste disposal and recycling initiatives within the marina.
• Participate in emergency response procedures as required.
• Perform minor repairs and general maintenance tasks under supervision.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures or willingness to learn quickly.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and perform repetitive physical tasks.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Previous experience working in a marina or waterside environment.
• Knowledge of basic boating terminology and knot tying.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid boat operator's license or equivalent.
