We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our Corporate Finance team in Valencia. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of UK and US payrolls, adhering to relevant tax regulations and company policies. The successful candidate will support payroll operations, handle queries, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department. Responsabilidades Clave
- Assist with the end-to-end processing of UK and US payrolls, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local tax legislation.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and benefits deductions.
- Respond to employee payroll queries promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues as necessary.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports for internal review and external compliance purposes.
- Reconcile payroll data and general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Support year-end payroll activities, including tax filings and reporting.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and external vendors to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
Habilidades Requeridas
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration, specifically with exposure to UK and/or US payroll systems.
- Strong understanding of UK and/or US payroll tax regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet strict deadlines.
Cualificaciones Preferidas
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification in payroll (e.g., CIPP, APA) is a plus.
- Experience working in a multinational or professional services environment.
- Familiarity with Spanish labor law and payroll practices is an advantage but not required.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
