We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist with a focus on Global Sourcing to join our dynamic team in Girona. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers on a global scale to ensure the highest quality materials and services at competitive prices. You will drive strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to optimize our supply chain and support Inditex’s global operations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of international procurement processes, and a commitment to sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for various categories of goods and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new international suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and reliability.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in global supply chains.
• Lead complex negotiations with suppliers to achieve favorable terms, conditions, and pricing.
• Manage and monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., R&D, Production, Legal, Finance) to understand material requirements and align sourcing strategies.
• Implement and enforce sustainable and ethical sourcing practices throughout the supply chain.
• Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics, cost savings, and supplier performance.
• Mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, economic, and logistical challenges.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience in global procurement or strategic sourcing (minimum 3 years).
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is a plus.
• Experience with sustainable sourcing initiatives and ethical trade compliance.
• Proficiency in additional languages relevant to global sourcing (e.g., Mandarin, Portuguese).
