We are seeking a highly motivated Robotics Intern to join our Research & Development team in Puerto de la Cruz. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring robotics engineer to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge robotic systems and contribute to real-world projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers and researchers, assisting in the design, development, and testing of innovative robotics solutions for various industrial applications. This internship is designed to provide practical experience and a strong foundation in robotics R&D.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of robotic prototypes and components.
• Contribute to software development for robot control, perception, and navigation.
• Conduct experiments, collect data, and analyze results to support research initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on problem-solving and technical challenges.
• Document research findings, code, and experimental procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot robotic hardware and software systems.
• Participate in team meetings and present project updates.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of robotics fundamentals (kinematics, dynamics, control systems).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, MATLAB).
• Familiarity with robotic operating systems (ROS).
• Basic knowledge of sensor technologies (e.g., cameras, LiDAR, force sensors).
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Previous experience with robotics projects (academic or personal).
• Familiarity with simulation environments (e.g., Gazebo, CoppeliaSim).
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of machine learning or computer vision principles.
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
