As a Smart Contract Auditor at Polygon Labs, you will play a crucial role in securing the future of decentralized applications built on Polygon’s ecosystem and beyond. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from Benicassim, Spain, or anywhere else within the specified time zones. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive security audits of smart contracts, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance their robustness. Your expertise will directly contribute to protecting assets and ensuring the integrity of innovative blockchain projects. We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of blockchain security best practices and various smart contract platforms.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Perform in-depth security audits of smart contracts written in Solidity, Vyper, and other blockchain languages.
• Identify and report critical vulnerabilities such as reentrancy, integer overflows, access control issues, front-running, and denial-of-service attacks.
• Conduct manual code reviews, static analysis, and dynamic analysis using various security tools.
• Write clear, concise, and actionable audit reports detailing findings, their severity, and recommended remediations.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to explain vulnerabilities and assist in their resolution.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest smart contract attack vectors, security tools, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies and internal tools, as well as knowledge sharing within the team.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience in smart contract auditing, preferably with a portfolio of past audits.
• Strong proficiency in Solidity and EVM bytecode.
• Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, cryptography, and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols.
• Familiarity with common smart contract vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques.
• Experience with security tools like Slither, Mythril, Truffle, Hardhat, and Brownie.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively in written and verbal English.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• Experience with other blockchain languages like Rust (for Solana) or Vyper.
• Familiarity with formal verification methods or tools (e.g., Certora, K Framework).
• Contributions to open-source security projects or bug bounty programs.
• Certifications in blockchain security (e.g., Certified Blockchain Security Professional).
