We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to champion our brand within the vibrant expat community. Based in our Barcelona office, you will be instrumental in developing and executing social media strategies that resonate with expatriates, foster community engagement, and drive brand awareness. This role requires a deep understanding of the expat lifestyle, exceptional content creation skills, and a proven track record in managing successful social media campaigns across various platforms. You will be the voice of our expat brand, connecting with our audience and nurturing a thriving online community.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies tailored for the expat audience across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and expat-specific forums.
• Create compelling, culturally sensitive, and engaging content (text, image, video) that addresses the needs, interests, and challenges of expatriates.
• Manage daily social media activity, including scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and fostering active community discussions.
• Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications relevant to the expat market, ensuring our strategies remain cutting-edge.
• Analyze social media performance data, generate insights, and report on key metrics to optimize future campaigns and achieve KPIs.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure brand consistency and integrated campaign execution.
• Identify and engage with expat influencers and community leaders to expand reach and credibility.
• Stay informed about local regulations and cultural nuances affecting content creation and community engagement in key expat destinations.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in social media management, with a focus on community building or niche markets.
• Demonstrable experience creating content for and engaging with expat communities or international audiences.
• Proficiency with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok) and social media management tools.
• Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to craft compelling narratives.
• Creative mindset with strong visual storytelling abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced international environment.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and content marketing best practices.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Fluency in Spanish or another major European language.
• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
