We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Traffic Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cadiz. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing traffic management solutions that improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability of urban and interurban transportation systems. This role requires a strong understanding of traffic engineering principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively on diverse projects. Fluency in English is a mandatory requirement for international project collaboration and documentation.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Conduct traffic studies and analyses, including data collection, capacity analysis, and traffic impact assessments.
• Design and implement traffic signal timing plans, intersection improvements, and roundabouts.
• Develop and evaluate traffic management plans for construction zones, special events, and urban developments.
• Utilize traffic simulation software (e.g., VISSIM, Synchro) for modeling and analysis.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and design specifications.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, urban planners, public officials, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national traffic engineering standards and regulations.
• Participate in public outreach and stakeholder meetings to present project details and gather feedback.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented traffic solutions.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in traffic engineering.
• Proficiency in traffic engineering software (e.g., Synchro, HCS, AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of national and international traffic engineering standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in Transportation or Traffic Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification.
• Experience with GIS software for traffic data visualization and analysis.
• Familiarity with Spanish traffic regulations and design guidelines.
• Experience in intelligent transportation systems (ITS) design and implementation.
