We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Export/Import Clerk to join our team in Estepona. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and processing international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and providing exceptional service to our clients. This role requires fluency in English to effectively communicate with international partners and manage documentation. Responsabilidades Clave

  • Prepare, process, and manage export/import documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and commercial invoices.
  • Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and clients to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
  • Track and trace shipments, providing status updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
  • Resolve any discrepancies, delays, or issues that may arise during the shipping process.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases of all export/import activities.
  • Communicate effectively in English with international clients, suppliers, and overseas offices.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required within the logistics department.

Habilidades Requeridas

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good problem-solving skills

Cualificaciones Preferidas

  • Previous experience in a logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping environment (1-2 years)
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations (Incoterms, customs procedures)
  • Proficiency in Spanish (highly beneficial for local communication)
  • Experience with logistics software or ERP systems
