We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pattern Maker / Seamstress to join our dedicated atelier team in Sotogrande. This pivotal role involves both the creation of precise patterns and the meticulous execution of garment construction for bespoke luxury apparel. The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional eye for detail, a deep understanding of garment fit and construction, and a passion for crafting high-quality, made-to-measure pieces. You will work closely with designers and clients to translate conceptual sketches into tangible, perfectly fitted garments, maintaining Loewe’s legacy of excellence.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Develop accurate and detailed patterns from design sketches, ensuring perfect fit and aesthetic vision.
• Execute precise cutting of fabrics, ensuring optimal material usage and alignment with pattern specifications.
• Perform high-quality garment construction, including intricate sewing, tailoring, and finishing techniques.
• Conduct fittings with clients, making necessary adjustments and alterations to achieve desired fit and comfort.
• Collaborate with designers and the atelier manager to maintain consistent quality and meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
• Research and implement new pattern making and sewing techniques to enhance efficiency and craftsmanship.
• Manage materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock for ongoing projects.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Pattern Maker and Seamstress in a luxury or bespoke atelier setting.
• Expertise in both manual and CAD pattern making techniques.
• Proficient in all aspects of garment construction, including draping, cutting, sewing, and finishing.
• Extensive knowledge of various fabrics, their properties, and appropriate handling techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to perform precise alterations and fittings.
• Strong understanding of haute couture techniques and luxury apparel standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus).

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• A degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, or Tailoring.
• Experience with specialized luxury fabrics and embellishments.
• Proficiency in Lectra, Gerber, or similar CAD pattern making software.
• Portfolio demonstrating previous pattern making and sewing work on high-end garments.
