We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Traffic Engineer to join our dynamic team in Valencia, Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving traffic flow and transportation systems for various infrastructure projects. This role requires a strong understanding of traffic engineering principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Fluency in English is essential, as the role may involve international projects and collaboration with diverse teams.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Conduct traffic studies and analyses, including data collection, capacity analysis, and forecasting.
• Design traffic control systems, signal timings, and pavement markings.
• Develop traffic management plans for construction zones and special events.
• Utilize traffic simulation software (e.g., VISSIM, Synchro) to model and optimize traffic operations.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and design specifications.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international traffic engineering standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, urban planners, and other stakeholders to integrate traffic solutions into broader infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Participate in client meetings and project discussions, representing Acciona's expertise.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in traffic engineering.
• Proficiency in traffic analysis and simulation software (e.g., VISSIM, Synchro, HCS).
• Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles and design standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to interpret and apply relevant regulations and codes.
• Problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in Transportation or Traffic Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification in Spain or EU.
• Experience with GIS software for traffic data visualization and analysis.
• Fluency in Spanish is a significant plus.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
