We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Studies to lead the academic team at our language institute in Benimaclet, Valencia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall academic quality, teacher development, curriculum management, and student success. This pivotal role requires strong leadership, pedagogical expertise, and a passion for language education. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality language programs, manage a team of dedicated teachers, and contribute to the strategic growth of the institute.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of language teachers, including regular observations, feedback, and professional development sessions.
• Oversee curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure alignment with EF's pedagogical standards and student learning objectives.
• Manage teacher recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance appraisals.
• Monitor and maintain high academic standards, ensuring an excellent student learning experience and satisfaction.
• Handle student academic inquiries, grievances, and provide appropriate support and solutions.
• Organize and lead regular academic meetings, workshops, and training sessions for staff.
• Manage academic resources, including materials, technology, and classroom allocation.
• Collaborate with other department heads to ensure smooth operation of the institute.
• Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in language teaching and educational technology.
• Ensure compliance with local educational regulations and EF's global academic policies.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in language teaching, with at least 2 years in an academic management or leadership role.
• Fluency in English (C2 level) and Spanish (C1 or C2 level).
• Proven experience in teacher training, development, and performance management.
• Strong understanding of various language teaching methodologies and curriculum design.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and manage diverse teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and educational technology platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Education, or a related field.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in Applied Linguistics, TESOL, or Educational Leadership.
• DELTA, DipTESOL, or equivalent advanced TEFL qualification.
• Experience with EF specific pedagogical approaches or similar international language education frameworks.
• Familiarity with the local educational landscape in Spain.
