We are seeking a passionate and innovative Educational Technologist to join our dynamic EdTech team in Playa de las Américas. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing technology-enhanced learning solutions that engage students and empower educators. You will work closely with instructional designers, content creators, and software engineers to integrate educational theories with practical technological applications. This position requires a blend of pedagogical expertise, technical proficiency, and a creative mindset to push the boundaries of digital learning.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Design and develop engaging digital learning content and activities using a variety of authoring tools and platforms.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to translate learning objectives into effective technology-enhanced solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend new educational technologies, software, and hardware to enhance teaching and learning.
• Provide training and support to educators and learners on the effective use of EdTech tools and platforms.
• Conduct research on emerging trends in educational technology and pedagogical best practices.
• Analyze data and feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness and user experience of our digital learning solutions.
• Manage EdTech projects from conception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Ensure accessibility and inclusivity are central to all digital learning design and development.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Educational Technologist or similar role.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, or Brightspace.
• Demonstrated experience with authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, H5P).
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and learning theories (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in English.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in Educational Technology or a related field.
• Experience with multimedia development and editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) relevant to educational content delivery.
• Experience in a K-12 or Higher Education setting.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) in digital learning.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
