We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused HVAC Technician to join our team in Playa de las Américas, Tenerife. This role is crucial for maintaining the comfort and operational efficiency of our valued expat clients, which include residential properties, hotels, and commercial establishments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will be responsible for providing exceptional technical service, ensuring client satisfaction through clear communication and effective problem-solving.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC units.
• Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components, including compressors, motors, fans, and thermostats.
• Install new HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
• Provide clear and concise explanations of work performed and necessary repairs to expat clients, often in English.
• Manage work orders, maintain accurate records of services performed, and track inventory of parts used.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency repairs as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, demonstrating expertise across a range of systems (split, multi-split, VRV/VRF, chillers).
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical components.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with an expat client base.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
• Relevant technical certification or vocational training in HVAC.
• Knowledge of refrigeration principles and refrigerants.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• F-Gas certification or equivalent.
• Experience working in a resort or hospitality environment.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of smart home HVAC integration systems.
• Experience with energy management systems.
